I received my PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May of 2004. For the past two years I have been a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy here at Pittsburgh. I teach large introductory philosophy classes, including Introduction to Ethics, Concepts of Human Nature, Social Philosophy, and Minds & Machines. My research interests are in the philosophy of mind and action.
