Sixty-eight new faculty members attended this year's New Faculty Orientation,
August 28. Provost Jim Maher and Dean Randy Juhl began the day's events by welcoming new faculty to our campus. Robert Perkoski from Career Services joined a panel of students and faculty as they addressed the question Who are Pitt Students? There were four break-out sessions on instructional topics: Academic Integrity, Setting Expectations, Educating Today's Students, and Interactive Lecturing. New faculty were joined by their chairs and deans for a luncheon at which Chancellor Mark Nordenberg gave greetings.
