Rich Media Production

Rich Media Production offers both traditional and new video and audio production services, graphic design for presentation or publication, lecture capture, and video and web conferencing. Many of these services are offered free of charge. Contact the manager of Rich Media Production, or stop by our production facilities in A114 Information Sciences Building.

Rich Media services include:

- DVD and CD Duplication: single or multiple copies, disc label and jacket design is also available. A fee applies for this service, and copyright regulations are strictly enforced.

- Graphic Design: all phases of visual design and media production. Our services are available to the University community for the support of classroom instruction, for program support, and for non-instructional uses as well.

- Lecture Capture: audio and video recording of lectures may be hosted on a streaming server for on-demand viewing, or delivered on DVD. Rich Media capture service is also available. Click here for samples.

- Poster Printing: large-format poster printing from your original files. A fee applies for this service. Poster design and layout from your original material is also available for an additional charge.

- Streaming Video: live streaming video and audio is available from virtually any site on the Oakland campus.

- Video and Web Conferencing: standards compliant (H.320 and H.323) video conferencing is available at four sites on the Oakland campus.  A fee applies for this service.

- Video Production: a professional in-house video production facility employing state-of-the-art broadcast-quality video cameras, recorders and editing equipment.  Click here for samples.
