Survey Administration Process
Surveys for all classes EXCEPT for the School of Medicine are automatically activated. Decisions about whether a course can be opted-out of the survey process are made at the administrative level in some schools. In others, faculty can opt out of the survey process.
It is important for faculty to verify that surveys have been activated. See our timeline for Faculty should go to their Teaching Survey Dashboard a few weeks before surveys are scheduled to begin.
School of Medicine– Instructors teaching classes or sections of cross listed classes in the School of Medicine should contact us to request a survey.
Surveys are administered online. Students will receive an email alerting them that they have surveys to complete with a link to their student dashboard, surveys can also be accessed through Canvas and My Pitt. Go to our student page for more details.
