Non-Print Media Specialist
University of Pittsburgh faculty, staff and students: Have you ever read about or seen a movie but do not know who distributes it? Are you teaching or researching a particular subject and wonder what audio visual materials are available to assist you? Do you know the director of a movie but cannot remember the title? Did you know that you can search the Instructional Media Services Film & Video Catalog directly from your web browser? Any and all questions should be directed to:
Responsibilities:
- Conducts media searches of titles, directors, subjects, distributors etc. on all non-print media formats such as video, laser discs, audio cassette, CD-ROMS.
- Contacts distributors to place orders for rental, purchase and preview materials of non-print media.
- Processes all University of Pittsburgh purchase requisitions for non-print media. These requisitions can be sent directly to Ann McLeod at G-20 Hillman Library.
