- What are the primary services offered by Instructional
Media Services?
Instructional Media Services supports the instructional process in classrooms
by providing media-related materials, equipment, facilities and personnel
to the University of Pittsburgh community. Instructional Media Services staff
deliver equipment and materials to classrooms and offer setup and operation
services. These services are free-of-charge for all registered courses at
the University of Pittsburgh.
- Who is eligible to use the services offered by Instructional
Media Services?
All University of Pittsburgh faculty, students and staff with a valid ID
card are are able to utilize the services Instructional Media Services provides.

- What is the charge for these services?
Equipment loans and most services are free for registered classes. There
is a charge for most other events. See the price
list for more details on charges.
- Where is the Instructional Media Services office?
The Instructional Media Services office is located at B-10 Alumni Hall (formerly
Masonic Temple), 4227 Fifth Avenue.
- When is your office open?
Although service is available 7 days per week, office hours are:
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 8:30pm
Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Saturday By Appointment
