Classroom Videotaping
Classroom videotaping service is available
free-of-charge to Pitt faculty. At the your request, a
member of the Instructional Media Services staff will setup
a camcorder in your classroom and record you and your students
on videotape. Many instructors use this service to document
student presentations or group activities. Other instructors
choose to submit the tape to The
Faculty Development Program for a confidential evaluation
of their teaching methodology.
Our operator will make a general recording
of the class or you may specify the emphasis of certain camera
shots.
Due to the heavy demand for classroom videotaping,
please allow as much lead-time as possible when requesting
this service.
