Orientation to Distance Education
This workshop explores delivery options for
distance education. You will experience first-hand examples --
from low-tech print materials to high tech computer options.
Discussion of examples focuses on advantages and drawbacks of
different media in meeting course goals and student needs.
Orientation to Interactive Television (ITV)
This 3-hour workshop provides faculty,
who will be teaching with ITV, basic concepts of the:
- Differences between teaching and learning
in a traditional and ITV classroom
- How to use the equipment
- Effective teaching strategies for
ITV
- Resources available within CIDDE for
instructors using ITV
