Interactive
Television
What is Interactive Television?
Interactive Television
(ITV) "links" or connects two or more classrooms
by way of two-way audio and video communication. An instructor
teaching a class at the transmission site (home site) can see
and talk with students at "far site" ; classrooms.
Students at far sites also can see and talk with the instructor
and students at the home site.
Pitt's network links the Oakland campus with
the four regional campuses, as well as with other sites outside
of Pitt.
