Dear Colleagues:
The annual Summer Instructional Development Institute (SIDI)
provides University faculty with concentrated instructional
development opportunities on topics designed to promote effective
teaching and use of instructional technology. The summer programs
are an extension of the kinds of instructional development
opportunities offered in different formats throughout the regular
academic year by the Center for Instructional Development & Distance
Education.
Presented in consultation with the Provost’s Advisory Council on
Instructional Excellence, the following initiatives are planned for
SIDI 2008.
I encourage you to take advantage of these offerings and to suggest
areas and topics of interest for future Summer Institute programs.
