• Patricia Gurin, the Nancy Cantor Distinguished University Professor Emerita at the University of Michigan, delivered the Provost’s Faculty Diversity Seminar Keynote address on May 6, 2008.
• CIDDE photographer, Mike Drazdzinski, won the Blue Ribbon from the Triangle Photographers’ Association of Pennsylvania, Inc photographic competition featuring photographs from Pitt Basketball games.

• The mCast (multimedia Webcast) series is back up and running and we would like all of you to join us every Wednesday at 12:15 PM to hear about the new features of Blackboard, as well as the new technologies supported by CIDDE.  The mCasts are broadcast live over the Web, but you may also join us in the FIDL training room to view them with a small group and talk to the presenter.  Bring your lunch and we’ll provide the beverages and cookies.
