Instructional Computing

Instructional Computing strengthens the instructional development and support available to faculty while supporting all of CIDDE computer technology needs. The department also works with faculty from time to time to identify and use specialized technology and other instructional resources.

Instructional Computing provides support in the following areas:

  • Computer Assisted Testing System (CATS)
  • HTML, Java®, JavaScript®, ASP, and ASP.NET programming for instructional web pages.
  • System analysis and design for computer-based instruction and multimedia applications.
  • Programming in Visual Basic or .NET for computer-based instruction and multimedia applications.
  • Database development in Microsoft ACCESS or SQL Server.
  • Consultation on the application of computer technology to instruction.
