Student use of mobile devices on the rise

While laptops remain the computing device of choice for college students (by far), a recent study shows that mobile device use is on the rise.

According to the Chronicle of Higher Education, use of e-readers for studies has tripled over the last two years — including an even more significant spike in use of tablets.
